On March 30th, 2019, the School of Kinesiology and Health Studies at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario held a Roundtable on Racism in Hockey. To the best of our knowledge, it was the first gathering of its kind with the objective to address racism as opposed to simply increasing diversity. This event was made possible with support from Queen’s University’s Department of English and Literature, Queen’s Athletics and Recreation, the NHL, and QMix. There were approximately 50 delegates in attendance but if you couldn’t make it, please enjoy the video footage below.
